Mei kore ake tō rātou whakapau kaha ka pēhea te reo taketake o Aotearoa i ēnei rā? Mōku ake nei, me tahuri atu tātou ki te kōrero Māori kia ora ai.
Ngā mihi ki a Al Jazeera.
The following is a documentary that was broadcast by Al Jazeera on their website. It features the well-being and survival of the Māori language through organisations such as Kohanga Reo (Māori Language Nest) and the indigenous people of The Long White Cloud. If it weren’t for their efforts what would be the state of the language today? For me personally, we must speak the language to ensure its survival.
